This is a forum for concerned parents and caregivers, students, community members, and organizational and coalition friends who advocate for public education and student success across the U.S. South.
This SEEN (Southern Education Equity Network) forum is built upon the belief that there is great power in communities coming together to create change. It is based on core principles upon which communities of action can be created across race and sector to support schools in improving education for all students.
Our award-winning IDRA SEEN School Resource Hub provides and curates lesson plans, instructional best practices, historical resources, policy updates and data maps to support educators and advocates who want to promote culturally-sustaining schools and fight harmful censorship policies.
Our IDRA SEEN Model Policy Shop provides policy language and sample legislation that can be easily adapted for federal, state and local levels. In each model policy package, you will also find supporting research and evidence, guidance for implementation and advocacy toolkits.
Find the right group for you to advocate for improving education for all!
